Announces self-imposed ban on ASAT

Last night the Vice President delivered a speech to representatives of commercial space companies and members of Space Force / Air Force at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. She announced the US is setting a self-imposed ban on anti-satellite missile tests (ASAT). There’s hope/expectation that other nations will follow the US leadership and also ban these tests, which are the major source of space debris.
